Terms and Conditions

WHO IS ELIGIBLE

  • All persons registered at www.booktango.com and who complete the submission of their manuscript at www.booktango.com between Sept. 10-30, 2012.
  • Entrants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Employees of Booktango and its related companies are not eligible to enter the Contest.

One winner will receive a Windfall: Publish Your Way to 10K promo package that includes:

Contest Requirements:

  1. All persons registered at www.booktango.com and who complete the submission of their manuscript at www.booktango.com between Sept. 10-30, 2012, will be automatically entered into the Contest. Only one entry per person.
  2. Participation in this Contest is governed by these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Winner will be chosen at random from the pool of eligible entrants.
  4. No purchase necessary to enter or win. Purchasing a services package will not increase odds of winning.
  5. All submissions are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the applicable services agreement.
  6. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entrants.
  7. One Grand-Prize Winner will receive a Windfall: Publish Your Way to 10K promo package valued at $10,454.
  8. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
  9. Booktango is not responsible for any individual's inability to enter this contest, including but not limited to: failed software or hardware transmissions; unavailable network, server, telephone or other connections; errors of any kind, whether human, electronic, or mechanical regarding lost, misdirected, late, incomplete or damaged entries; or for any damage to any computer, network, hardware or software related to or resulting from participation.
  10. Booktango reserves the right to end or modify the contest if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the contest as determined in its sole discretion.
  11. The Contest may be terminated by Booktango without prior notice at any time.
  12. Winner grants to Booktango the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the online, at any time or times, the winner's name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, and biographical information as news or information and for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration and without notification, review or approval.
  13. All taxes are the responsibilities of the winners.
  14. IN NO EVENT WILL BOOKTANGO BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT THIS CONTEST.
  15. These Terms and Conditions and your participation in this Contest are subject to the laws of the State of Indiana, and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Indiana for any disputes related to these Terms and Conditions or this contest.
  16. Void where prohibited by law. Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
